Being Digital, where the world is flat and decentralized, making things bigger and smaller at the same time was the future, and the future is already here---it's just not evenly distributed yet like in place in Nicaragua, the second poorest country in Latin America next to Haiti. Yet there is DetermiNATION and dignity here- I like it.

So with,curiosity, vulnerability and vocabulary, I will articulate the Nicaragua sound bite. These ppl are so sweet and charming, Yet they are the digital homeless, who couldn’t tell you the difference between google and facebook, a laptop or an ipad. The largest experiment in anarchy that we have ever had is not the internet, it's right here-everyday in the streets . My conscious, however, permits me to love them.
Having a coffee in a local cafe tastes so much better because the internet is up to speed here on land, but can be as slow as the old dial up-it's Rural Connectivity.
The internet is not just a source of information it is a source of disinformation; and, more than that, most of the information is not knowledge, it's opinion, or worse yet alienated exerience. It can feel real, but people are real, not the information. My travel by proxy is the menu not the meal, the statue, not the saint, the map, not the territory. You cannot create experience. You must undergo it.

My 3lb universe-the brain inside my head has limitless number of connections it can make. Nerons that wire together fire together and I have developed matrixes and networks of people that I communicate “electronically with. I pilot myself in this space and I find that the real action has switched from the static books and thick and heavy Encyclopedia Britannica’s to communicating in screens., activating and transmitting my brains, and I feel infinitely more intelligent and lucky for it.
